You can install the skin yourself. But if you are not confident, we provide skin installation service for you with cost.
And, all shipping costs are your responsibility. When shipping a camera, you must contact us via email or message before shipping to discuss shipping settings. (Generally, there are cases where we write down the serial number and send it for repair purposes, or send it as a used item at a lower price. Be sure to contact us as each precaution is different.) For any losses that may occur if you do not follow our guide, we will not be liable and may charge you any additional costs.

Cost of skin replacement and attachment work (occurred when requesting attachment): USD 50.00
Because the SL2 model has many skin parts and a large area, it takes a lot of time to remove and attach the skin. Therefore, the skin attachment service is priced separately.
We also provide instructions on how to replace the skin for those who are unable to send the camera or want to do the work themselves. If you have applied for the attachment service, we will contact you after ordering and around the time production is completed. You can schedule a visit by email (sejun@artedimano.com) or send your camera to us. (For shipping, please contact us according to the shipping guide above)
Basically, it takes the production period indicated below information page to complete the skin after ordering. If a reservation is made, replacing the camera skin takes about 3 hours and delivery takes about 1-2 days.
How to install skin
To replace the skin of the SL2 / SL2-S model, a small-sized Phillips screwdriver is required.
1. Remove the skin cleanly. At this time, be careful because if foreign substances remain, the skin may become curved or the final size may not fit.
2. To attach the skin, you must separate the cover parts on the grip side. Remove the four screws shown in the photo using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. To separate the grip cover parts, place your fingernail on the seam shown in the photo and gently apply force toward the lens mount to separate the parts.
4. First attach the bottom of the separated grip cover parts, that is, the left flat skin of the lens mount, and then reassemble the grip cover parts. Tighten the screws as well.
5. Attach a new skin on one side at the correct location based on the positions of various holes.
Tip. Attach the right side of the lens mount closely to the lens mount side first, then wrap it naturally and attach it outward for a perfect fit.
If the adhesive on the lens mount side is not sufficient or you attach it while pulling, it may cross the border.
This is a very elaborate skin, so please be careful when applying this part.
